Dr. Nathan Hitchcock

Dr. Hitchcock comes alongside organizations to set up competency-based training systems that utilize effective forms of supervision.  He trains educators and administrators, co-builds curricula, sets up lithe assessment systems, meets compliance, identifies tech options and finds solutions. Sensitive to organizational transitions, he empowers organizations, from get-it-going to get-it-done.

Dr. Nathan Hitchcock is a forerunner in the world of competency-based education, where learners get credit for demonstrated proficiency, not "time served." His work includes the curricular architecture for seminaries (such as Kairos University) as well as a competency-based ordination systems for denominations (such as the Alliance of Reformed Churches). He specializes in curricular frameworks, evaluation of character, and prior learning assessments. He holds a PhD from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. He is based out of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, USA.
